Friends/Colleagues,
With our Call for Chapters and Creative Artefacts for ‘Ceding Control: River Running Rights in Australian Environment Policy’, the editors want to focus on Australian water environmental ethics and policy with a humanities lens (acknowledging the intersection with science is critical). Why Australian? Given the Murray Darling National Water Initiative decadal bunfight and the current waiting season for the mooted ‘rejig’ of key Federal environmental legislation (and the Environmental Protection Australia agency), Australian environmental policy is in flux, and the time for a scholarly contribution is ‘if not now – when?’
